These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your participation as a listing member or signing agent (“Signing Agent” or “You”) on the USA-SigningAgent.com website (“Website,” “Platform,” or “Service”).
By creating a listing, maintaining a profile, or using any portion of this Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not create a listing or use this Website.
USA-SigningAgent.com is a directory and advertising service designed to help escrow companies, title companies, lenders, and the general public locate signing agents.
The Platform:
Does not assign or manage signings
Does not verify your credentials, licensure, background check, or training
Does not guarantee the accuracy of information in any listing
Does not recommend or endorse any Signing Agent
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your listing, credentials, and services are lawful, accurate, and compliant with all applicable state and federal laws.
To create a listing, you must:
Be a currently commissioned Notary Public in at least one U.S. state
Provide true and accurate information about your commission, training, and services
Comply with all state notarial laws, including any RON or specialty commissioning requirements
Be at least 18 years of age
USA-SigningAgent.com may remove or restrict listings that appear fraudulent, misleading, non-compliant, expired, or inactive.
You agree that all information you provide—commission details, contact information, coverage areas, fees, credentials, and availability—is:
Accurate
Current
Complete
Lawfully obtained
You are responsible for updating your listing immediately if any information changes, including:
Commission expiration
Contact information
Service area
Fees
Errors or omissions
USA-SigningAgent.com is not responsible for inaccuracies in your listing.
You understand and agree that:
The Platform does not guarantee any number of referrals or assignments
The Platform does not control when or whether companies will contact you
Listing visibility may vary based on location, competition, and demand
Your membership is an advertising service, not a work-placement service.
As a Signing Agent, you agree to:
Follow all state notarial laws
Maintain any required certifications or background checks
Perform all signing agent duties lawfully and ethically
Protect consumer information and remain compliant with GLBA, privacy laws, and any non-disclosure agreements
Refrain from offering legal advice unless you are licensed to practice law
USA-SigningAgent.com assumes no responsibility for your conduct, errors, omissions, or legal compliance.
You agree not to:
Misrepresent your skills, credentials, experience, or commission status
Submit false, misleading, outdated, or deceptive information
Upload copyrighted material you do not own
Engage in spam, harassment, or solicitation of other users
Use the Platform for illegal or unethical purposes
Collect or store personal data from the Platform other than for direct communication with clients who contact you
Violation of this section may result in immediate removal from the Platform without refund.
Membership fees are required to maintain an active listing.
By purchasing a listing, you agree:
Membership fees are recurring and will automatically renew unless you cancel your membership from your account.
Failure to maintain an active payment method may result in removal of your listing.
Refunds are available only within 30 days of purchase.
To request a refund, you must contact us by email at support@usa-signingagent.com.
No refunds will be issued after 30 days, regardless of usage or activity.
Refunds apply only to the listing fee—not to any third-party services.
You are responsible for canceling your membership before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue your subscription.
USA-SigningAgent.com may, at its sole discretion:
Modify, edit, or adjust your listing for formatting or accuracy
Remove listings that appear inactive, outdated, misleading, or non-compliant
Suspend or terminate listings for violation of these Terms
Refuse renewal to individuals who misuse the Platform
Removal for violations does not entitle you to a refund.
You understand and agree that:
You are an independent contractor
No partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship is created between you and USA-SigningAgent.com
USA-SigningAgent.com does not control your fees, schedule, business decisions, or work product
You are solely responsible for your taxes, legal compliance, and business operations
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless USA-SigningAgent.com, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of:
Your listing information
Your services, actions, or omissions as a Notary or Signing Agent
Your violation of state law
Your breach of these Terms
Any dispute between you and a third party
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
USA-SigningAgent.com shall not be liable for:
Lost income, lost opportunities, or loss of clients
Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in listings
Damages arising from your services or business activities
Any indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or incidental damages
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to discontinue use of the Platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
All disputes must be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to jurisdiction in those courts.
Failure by USA-SigningAgent.com to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
